Nokia N95 Firmware

Hi, I would like to update my Nokia N95 firmware to v12.0.013, Could you please tell me the procedure for those who have done so...Also what are the functions on the phone to see what version firmware is on the phone...Thanks!

You cant do anything without the "NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER" software.

So head over to www.nokia.com first and get the software (it doesnt come on the CD you get with the phone).

Install it FIRST before plugging your phone into the pc via USB.

When you run the program, follow the instructions.

It will run and then tel you: YOUR N95 is on version x.x.x.x.x and there is (or isnt) an upgrade to version x.x.x.x.x.

REMBER TO BACKUP YOUR PHONE AS UPDATING WIPES IT CLEAN!!!!!!

Have fun.

Stuff works alot faster on the latest version and the camera gets a quality boost too.

That is the latest firmware for our handsets. You can upgrade to .014, but that is only released for Asia Pacific, hence it won't be picked up as an available update using the SA product codes.

Yes, you can change the code. I have changed mine to the European code (that should get rid of the stupid Vodafone software) for my next re-flash of the firmware

Hey there sandmanm34,
Yeah at the moment it is very empty, although it could have been over flowing with shows

At the moment we are in rehearsal and have been in great demand hopefully we can start early next year!

We are preparing for the RHINO RALLY next year in April (Easter wk-end) lots to prepare then we wll start gigs and National tour...Will keep you posted!!!
