Nokia N95 LCD not showing Light

Hey, Been using my nokia n95 to navigate myself around certain areas and guess what the LCD decided to go out (light)but everything else shows in teh lovely background. Does the guarantee cover the LCD......

Please as I'd seriously like to know because aint going to mission to other side of jhb and not get it fixed at all.

Have u switched ur phone off and on? Mine does it sometimes and then it doesnt want to come on. I just press the power buton and it works.
Perhaps its something wrong with the light sensor on ur phone?
