What can I say. These are both outstanding Nokia phones.

We all know specs of these phones. We know that feature wise the N95 is much better than the E65.

N95 = 5MP Camera
E65 = 2MP Camera

N95 = GPS
E65 = No GPS

N95 = 3G/HSDPA
E65 = 3G

ag, you know all this already.

One thing that I have to say is that the E65 definately have a better built quality. It feels nice in your hand. I slide feels nice too, although it doesn't slide very easy with one hand. You have to press real hard on the screen or buttons to slide it open. Whereas the N95 slides much easier with one hand.

Then there is something I wish the N95 had and that is the Active Standby Plug-ins. This is great. It shows your messages and missed calls on the Active Stanby Screen with your appointments. There must be something like that available for the N95.

I will search the net and let you other N95 owners know.

All in all I both phones are excellent in their own way and to own both is surely a pleasure.;):D

Yeah, the lack of AS is a big shortcoming. I have searched to find something similar, but had no luck, as it means that you will have to be running a 3rd party app on top of the OS all the time, and I don't like that.

Plug-ins should be available somewhere. Maybe from Nokia. Active Standby is already there.

I have used both phones and given the choice I would go for the E65 in a heartbeat. It is a better day to day phone and a joy to use.
My biggest criticism of the E65 is that it has dedicated buttons on the front for obscure Nokia applications like their conference calling application (or something like that) and I would have preferred if those buttons were user mappable.
There is one user mappable button on the front but they could have had tow or even three.

You know the high pitched sound when you hold your ear against the N95s' screen? Well, as you all know by now I don't have that problem with my N95.

My E65 have that problem. Not very loud, but it is there. Anyone else with a E65 with that problem?

It doesn't bother me at all though.

I'll hopefully be getting the E65 next week. I considered the N95 because I need a GPS and it was only a few hundred more than getting an E65 and a bluetooth GPS + software. I played around with the N95 for a bit and I don't like how the top half can wobble when you press the keys etc. The camera is good but suuuuuper slow. The GPS is really too slow to be of much use to me. And as everyone knows by now the battery life is terrible. The E65 is still an awesome phone, just no GPS and the numbers aren't as high etc.

The E65 uses the same battery as the N95. Although I get 4 days on the E65.

The "wobble" that you talk about. Well, I don't experience that with my N95 but the E65 have a "wobble" when you slide it open. Not much, but you can feel every now and then.
