The 80% have had it is fairly logical and accurate. In January blood analasys by our blood bank network put 4 provinces at an average of near 50% previously infected. Presuming delta is more infectious and has caused an even bigger wave than beta then it is entirely logical to add at least 25% to the 50% previously infected by the time delta is aver in a few more weeks.
Infection based antibodies in SA are far more useful against covid than the vaccines are at this point. The vaccines will be mopping up maybe 20% of the remaining 25% not previously infected at best as well as perhaps boosting the antibodies of the previously infected.
