I'm not the one claiming I have access to or can read and understand medical research data. I can't. Neither can he.
Buddy, I've read a lot of your posts here, cause my ****, do you post a lot, and you claim some sort of authority on just about everything. From afghan war tactics, to covid and everything in between it seems you think you are the only trusted voice here.

He's not the one calling Covid reports released by the German government "BS statistics".

  1. On 7/9/2021, Daily Maverick reported that hospital records show that over 1300 healthcare workers in South Africa have died in hospital of Covid-19. The figure is likely to be much higher, because the figure only records deaths in hospital, and the reporting system is not perfect. The data classifies healthcare workers as “people who have an exposure in a healthcare setting and includes porters, nurses, doctors, surgeons and specialists". "... it’s the equivalent of half the staff of Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, the largest hospital in the Southern Hemisphere". "...the deaths include at least 20 professors of medicine, a huge loss to South Africa’s teaching capacity and medical memory" (https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/art...orkers-in-south-africa-have-died-of-covid-19/).
  2. In May 2021, WHO (World Health Organisation) presented a global estimate of 115 000 healthcare workers dead from Covid-19 (https://www.euronews.com/2021/05/24...ealth-workers-have-died-from-disease-says-who).
  3. Professor Marc Mendelson, Professor of Infectious Diseases and Head of Division of Infectious Diseases & HIV Medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital, spoke about the anti-vaccination protest outside Groote Schuur Hospital. He spoke about: The trauma of healthcare workers dealing with Covid-19 patients. That staff have to choose which are the most likely-to-survive Covid-19 patients to admit to high care units including ICU. The immense disrespect medical workers and severely ill patients feel from the messaging of anti-vaxxers. The vaccines give a high probability of protection against severe Covid-19, hospitalisation for this disease, and death from this disease. so liiiike , when every second death was being marked as a covid death , even if it was other stuff and everyone was outraged... is that still a thing? Everyone accept it now?

We can do this all day, it does not change the fact that the vaccines largely reduce the chance of dying of COVID substantially.
not disputing that, that is precisely why it is a personal choice that affects only the individual

what business is it of you if I choose not to reduce my risk?

No you didn't. You're getting confused again.

I posted the CDC link, which refutes your claim that "the CDC disagrees".
you've only proven that flip-flops are abound, well done

vaccines curb transmission, oh no they don't
PCR tests are reliable, oh no they're not
vaccines mean return to normality, oh wait no they don't
anyone with covid who dies is a covid death
yet if you die after a vaccine we need a postmortem

and based on all of that you reckon you know with certainty the unvaxxed put you at some imaginary risk?!?

If I am in a car accident and the hospital is too full because of unvaccinated folks, I receive care too late to save me or my family.
which hospitals are full? (none btw, none in ZA at least)

that's increasingly turning into a far fetched hypothetical as all recovered covid patients have superior immunity to you, and the ones who died ... well they're not taking up a hospital bed anymore I promise you

so again, what does it matter to you?
