Even if the hospital is not full, the staff can't pay as much attention to me as they need to because they're overloaded by selfish unvaxxed Covid cases...
oh ffs please

the hospital is staffed to cater for the capacity of ... the hospital

whether it is a terrorist attack, or a mass rave overdose that got out of hand, or covid, it is NO BUSINESS OF YOURS

The reason for lockdowns is to prevent hospitals from being overwhelmed.

It is my business if you won't get vaccinated and then take up a hospital bed and my vaccinated relative has to die of an injury because of you. You can bet I'll turf you out of that bed for you being selfish.

oh I pray for you to try, after all this nonsense you keep vomiting I will take immense pleasure, even if it costs me my last dying breath, of shoving a stainless steel bedpan down your throat and watching you choke on it

Your problem is that you're looking at this issue with a sense of empathy, and how your actions (or lack thereof) might endanger the well-being of someone else. How bloody dare you?

You, completely unqualified in medicine, will argue with the head of Groote Schuur's Covid ward?
are you f-ing HIGH?

it doesn't take any qualification whatsoever to notice that your little summary stat picture makes no mention of a whole host of factors, if you need a degree to spot that I weep for you

which hospitals are full? (none btw, none in ZA at least)

that's increasingly turning into a far fetched hypothetical as all recovered covid patients have superior immunity to you, and the ones who died ... well they're not taking up a hospital bed anymore I promise you

so again, what does it matter to you?
Also, the financial impact.

Unvaccinated people drain resources from the hospital, leading to costs, which are transferred to medical aids and or the government budget, leading to increases in taxes or medical aid tariffs.

So another impact on me.

Hitler believed he would make Germany better by gassing the jews into extinction

how bloody dare you question his empathy?

"drain" implies they are overloaded, you have yet to provide any proof of that false assertion, because guess what ... hospitals in our country ARE NOT FULL

but that aside: it is illegal for medical aid companies to discriminate based on individual risk / disease once a member is accepted .. so how many AIDS sufferers are your arguing with over your inflated monthly payments?

none?

Lol, you can't even grasp the very definition of empathy.

What a surprise.
you are staring into your blinkers with reckless abandon, what a surprise

according to you ... forcing your will on someone else, even if it is for their own good, but realistically because of your perceived benefit to them ... is empathetic o_O

well you have it nearly right, missed by a mere two letters, it's not empathetic, it is pathetic

Thanks to the various restrictions in place....but I guess that's of no consequence.
and you can prove that how? in what universe?

thanks to restrictions that have not worked world wide?
or thanks to infections than have given immunity without the need of vaccines?
or the weather?
or ...?

your baseless assertions seemingly know no limits

The fact that you lack the capacity to grasp the usefulness and effectiveness of vaccines is what's pathetic here.

Anyways, in much the same way that you'll lose your driving license if you are reckless, or your kids will get taken away if you don't show adequate responsibility, so too does your freedom of choice get taken away in this case when you display a lack of social responsibility.

If you're going to act like a child, you're going to get treated like a child.
