Sure. But the risk either way is immaterial.

The evidence for healthy people dying is really anecdotal, if not completely fake news. Im not interested in your WhatsApp stories about someone's cousin that your great aunt or whomever knows that has died. Just too much of that nonsense around.
Meh, I could find you some credible stats but you'd just quibble about the health of the people. You'll claim they must have had some hitherto unknown condition or some such nonsense. And fake news is more your crowd's domain anyway.

BS man. That's a ridiculous cop out. You just have nothing.

O and I didn't add earlier that the benefits from the vaccine seem shortlived. They're already talking about booster shots and whatnot.

Saw this a week ago ...

"I really hope as many people as possible of my age, 50 and older, will get the third vaccination," he said. Prime Minister Naftali Bennett urged elderly Israelis to get vaccines because "you are in mortal danger".

He said that in the past week, 78 people had died of the virus in Israel, and 76 of those people were above the age of 60. "None of them managed to get the three doses of vaccines," said Bennett. "There is a deterioration of the vaccine from month to month, and the third dose recharges the body with powerful defence against the Delta variant."

Does that mean SA citizens will need to get the booster shot directly following the current shots?

Seems like the timeframe currently is between 6 to 12 months.

So you'll need to get it every year, maybe even twice a year.

I have personally now lost 4 friends to Covid. A healthy 69 year old (a runner). A 31 year old, a 33 year old and a 36 year old (all living active healthy life styles).

So anyone that tells you it's fake news, I'll take them to their grave sites and their grieving families.

What’s wrong with making money you commies.
Nothing wrong with making a profit provided the product provides what it is claimed to. The facts are, the vaccines available do not protect against infection or spreading the virus. No problem, just get politicians, the media and big pharma to change the narrative to "the vaccine will lessen the blow should you contract the virus. LOL!

The rhetoric is that those people would have had some unknown comorbidities so can't be classed healthy. It's a fluid view but can't win.

But that isn't the claim being made by vaccine makers. And they do provide some immunity from infection but mostly against symptomatic infection which frees up hospitals, allows people to carry on as they were, etc.
