Not clear from this article .... seems the 3rd shot is similar to the 1st and 2nd shot, and still does not protect against the Delta variant specifically? From all the articles and propaganda I was under the impression this 3rd shot was meant to curb the escaping Delta variant?

That's fantastic greg0205 but you do understand that the vaccinated in the UK are also dying in vast numbers...just at a pace 3 times less than the unvaccinated.
The vaccines are reducing their chances of dying by about two thirds or something but they are still dying in droves.
So one could also assemble a nice list of people who had been fully vaccinated who are also dead, who's fully vaccinated SO's are dead, even who's double vaccinated doctors are dead...get the point?

Absolutely, but my main point was that he cannot use a single personalized post/article and make it into a universal outcome.

I would assume anyone reading those articles would understand these vaccines are not currently in use, therefore anyone currently receiving a third dose of vaccine ( which may colloquially be termed a "booster" ) at the present time will receive the vaccine currently authorized for use, unless part of a trial.

The double vaccinated are actually dying in even greater numbers than the unvaccinated but they are also some 80% of the population now in the UK.
