Now is the time to cash in all your USD and stocks, already the nikki and hang-seng have plumeted, and the US economy cannot afford another war, N Korea is the only country that actualy poses a threat to The US they now have the bomb and a missle capable of fireing it, more than old saddam had.:D. I like living in a country who no one cares about. :D

I think Bush had the wrong intel on where the WMDs were stored... :p

How about this for a conspiracy theory :

Microsoft gave North Korea the science and software :)p) for the atom bomb and is timing all this to derail the PS3 launch in Japan. Making sense? :p

Don't bother with Dollars. If this escalates, climb into gold - or oil.

Yeap, gold is the safest bet in times of war. Hard currency that can be traded anywhere on the planet.

Dont bother, the USA, will do pin point strikes to nail the nukes, and any sites making them. They wont go in via the ground, they have learnt that lesson, and what does a couple of b2 bommber cost to send there and back. a couple of million Dollars, and they can put them back in the stoneage. N Korea, do not have the means to reach the USA.

However, I would climb into stocks, GOLD, Platinum, OIL and any mining (anything that bring out uranium) such as simmers. (oops) that was a tip :)

you do know that the airforce alone cant do it all? Take the lessons from Iraq and Serbia where 90% of the targets hit were dummies.

plus if the US hits and misses Japan or South Korea will be hit by nukes.

The USA/Russia/China have enough nuke material to bomb the earth serveral times over, I doubt they are going to buy more uranium to build more bombs.

Gold and oil is a good bet, oil to drive the machine's of war and gold to buy them. Building bomb shelter's could also be a good bet. Personally I would not want to be around after a nuclear war on the planet, the internet would be gone as well as most heavy industry's. If SA should ever be involved I would rather go out in a flash :p than wait for the radiation sickness to get me.

They need to find a cure for "Short Man Syndrome" ASAP. Who would of thought it could be so threatening to civilisation.

Seriously though, nevermind the bomb what about there nuke power stations. With such a dilapidated and corrupt regime running these things a meltdown would be devastating as the radioactive cloud could blow over neighbouring countries.

I keep hearing this but I don't see how. So they have a nuclear warhead and a missile to deliver to the west coast? So what? Would any person really trade one city for their entire country? Where is the gain?

I realize that kim jong-il is crazy but I imagine he still plans on living for a while.

He might be thinking that the U.S wont be willing to sacrifice a west coast city to attack North Korea if the North "moved south". Problem for him is they don't have a warhead or missile with enough range yet.

North Korea is not a direct threat to the U.S but they are to South Korea who is an allie of the U.S.

I don't think too much of it. Despite all the nukes the USSR had they never marched west across europe for the same reason north korea wont invade south.

True but he also knows there are those in the U.S who have shown a willingness to not commit to a war when there own country is attacked so why would they bother doing so for South Korea.
