Northern Cape ISP selling Starlink in South Africa

Jirre man, we haven't got Starlink. We have cell roaming. So I made a mistake. Shoot me then. Score one point for one upmanship.
To get the service to work in South Africa, you must bring the kit to the country and activate global roaming.
However, Starlink’s terms of service explain that roaming is intended for travel use and that cannot be employed for more than two months at a time.

After that period, the service needs to be used back at its home address, or the address needs to be changed to the destination where the kit is most frequently being used.

IT-Lec assured us after purchasing it 3 months ago that they had special arrangements with this specific package as they are or were registering/registered as an authorized reseller. Not sure. But they one they have showed me has been running for 6 months

Has anyone here tried to place an order as yet?
We have had a few orders from clients on this forum. We just don't know their usernames, else we would have asked them to post some results

But I believe IT Lec is also sending Mybroadband a demo kit

will be interesting to see. Especially if can use it while camping or when in remote areas where Vodacom signal sucks

Hi there.

I am desperately looking for a suitable satellite internet package as I am a remote worker; internet access is critical for me to make a living and I need a solution that is impervious to loadshedding and possible grid-collapse.

I have a few questions:
  1. Is your pre-order system part of Starlinks pre-order system? IE: If I already have made a pre-order (last year) with Starlink will/can your company 'honour' this or do I have to cancel my pre-order with Starlink and make one with IT Lec?
  2. Do you have a permanent work-around for the 2 month roaming limitation? I can't tell if the Starlink Global Roaming package overcomes this issue.
  3. Does the account have be held by a South African person (such as myself) or can it be registered via a foreign company (or local division/entity) being my employer?
Thank you!
