So my cellular provider, Telenor, is removing Roaming charges for the entire Europe, starting tomorrow.

I think this is after Netcom (now Telia) did the same but for Scandanavian and Baltic countries only from last month.

Interesting news, I wonder why MTN can't do the same for Southern African countries under its blanket.

Thoughts?

I think it's part of a larger drive to further enhance mobility throughout Europe (ironic, considering all the bull**** going on at the moment). And yes, I know Norway is not part of the EU, but it is part of Schengen. Since the start of this month (April 2016) my data usage in other Schengen countries will use my contract bundle, though it is still more expensive than using data within the Netherlands. From April 2017 it will be the same price for calls and data throughout the EU. Not sure about non-EU, Schengen countries.
