Something suitable for editing html files, with an absolute minimum of bells and whistles. (I'm one of those fools who still use kate, gedit or even notepad when working on web pages!)

I been using SilverEdit for HTML files, but any basic file manager can edit plain text files.

ES File Exploer, File Manager and Astro File Manager have built in text editors, SilverEdit is just essentially Dreamweaver on the move.

Thanks CB, will check out SilverEdit. ES, my explorer of choice is totally uninterested in trying to open html files.

@Elimentals: thanks for the thumbs up about the Android sub-forum :) I wouldn't mind using vi/vim, just haven't seen it in the store.
/edit: will definitely look at that vim touch, thanks!
/edit2: I'll have a look at jota, but the blurb of supporting 10^6 font types puts me off for what I'm looking for.

Duh moment of note ;): a short press - no go; long press - brings up a context menu where you can select "open as text". This will prolly be the easiest for what I'm looking for. Thanks CB.
