I couldn't find any reference in any previous posts, or the Novatel User Guide - I hope this hasn't been asked already. Recently my Novatel U630 has been intermittently crashing with the red and blue LEDs flashing alternately (very fast). Removing and reinserting the card (into a desktop PCMCIA adapter) solves the problem - temporarily. Is this a hardware fault? It doesn't seem to happen if I connect with GPRS - only with 3G.

It does sound like a hardware crash.

If it only started recently either it's busy breaking (check if it overheats in your machine) or something recently chaned in your setup (drivers? patches?)
