Our guys wouldn't know it was here...until it's too late.
Do support your point: If we were to encounter a natural disaster today, what are the Government plans to deal with that? Where do we assemble, how Government communicate, etc, etc? From where I sit, we'll be playing anything disastrous by ear and through efforts communities develop themselves.

:O I have two co-workers who have been in Italy for the last week for a trade show, back at work tomorrow.

So I was off yesterday. Come into today and find the one co-worker (actually the ceo) is man down and not at work. Even missed the board meeting this morning. I believe they were in Milan last week. The other guy is still there visiting family.

Don't know exactly what is wrong with him, but he is man down and really sick according the receptionist.

I kid you not.

Ferrari halts tours and closes two museums in Italy over virus fears

Ferrari has suspended tours of its factory and shut down museums near its headquarters following the outbreak of coronavirus in Northern Italy.

Ferrari’s factory and headquarters are in Maranello, just south of the Lombardy region where a bulk of the more than 220 cases in the country are concentrated. Ferrari said it hasn’t halted production, but it has closed both Ferrari museums in Maranello and in Modena as requested by local authorities. It has also “restricted access for employees that are residents or have visited the affected municipalities,” and has suspended visits from tourists — including its popular factory tours -- as well as “all non-critical business travel.”

The company said “new measures will be promptly implemented and communicated should they become necessary.”

Ferrari’s share price fell by about 5% Monday after reports of the outbreak, mostly in Italy’s Lombardy region, which includes Milan. A dozen towns went into effective lockdown, closing schools, businesses and restaurants and canceling public events.

What do you guys think?
The deadly animal-borne coronavirus spreading globally may have originated in a laboratory in the city of Wuhan linked to China’s covert biological weapons program, said an Israeli biological warfare analyst.

Radio Free Asia last week rebroadcast a Wuhan television report from 2015 showing China’s most advanced virus research laboratory, known the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The laboratory is the only declared site in China capable of working with deadly viruses.

Dany Shoham, a former Israeli military intelligence officer who has studied Chinese biological warfare, said the institute is linked to Beijing’s covert bio-weapons program.

Interesting thing is Iran saying they have so few cases but 15 deaths already. It must be exploding there.

I also think two countries to watch closely would be Iran and South Korea, Iran won't be able to quarantine people as effectively as China, and any attempt would probably lead to revolt, which will be chaos. South Korea's infections are already jumping up too drastically for it to not be an issue there, if it goes crazy there, the potential is for any country to go balistic if they have a few cases.

The information coming out of Iran and SK would also be more accurate without censorship or massaging of the numbers

I don't know what to believe.

Only thing I am certain of is that China is being economical with the truth as to the extent of what is going on there.
