I was treated by family as a disease and contagious when I had TB. Noone came near me. Kid's were tested "just in case".
No family came anywhere near me. I nursed myself though it. Only phoned by family for feel good calls. So they could feel better about themselves.

I've no anger. I understand the way people think.

Until after my ordeal, a well known and respected Doctor got it. About a year later.

Suddenly family doesn't recall anything about my ordeal. Lol.

Life is funny :)

First case confirmed in Finnish citizen.

Finland has confirmed its first case of the virus in a citizen, according to the Helsinki Times.
The paper reported that the patient, a woman of “working age”, was being treated at hospital in the capital Helsinki.
The patient returned from a trip to Milan on Sunday and has reported having only been in contact with two other people in Finland since then.
Finland's first official case was confirmed on 29 January after a Chinese traveler from Wuhan fell ill with the disease and was isolation in Lapland’s central hospital in northern Finland.

I've a friend in Bosnia. Wonderful person that has 2 kids. She's absolutely shitting herself. Croatia first case today. She's a teacher. She's no choice. But to be exposed to the virus.

There were no cases in Croatia. Now she's gotta deal with students that were in China recently. And she has to teach them and put up a brave front. Spoke to her today... she's a Language Expert. Proficient in 6 languages. Fluent in English, French, Spanish etc. Never mind Bosnian.

She's stunningly beautiful and tough at the same time. Yep.

Rare combination.

It's a long story.

Here are the things that give me a ray of hope with Corona:

I'm 57 with stuffed lungs. Had TB etc. I smoke. Sometimes I have coughing fits. Lots of phlegm I spit into a old small coffee tin and than moer the contents in a toilet and flush it. People are always sneezing and spraying their **** everywhere when the seasons or weather changes.

I don't seeze etc. But inevitably I get some ******* that sprays me or the space with germs. And than I battle.

So, my problem is people spreading germs. BY NOT FOLLOWING SIMPLE HYGIENIC PRINCIPLES. PUT YOUR HAND ELBOW IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE BEFORE YOU SNEEZE.

Just ****ing do it already.

That's all.

Hate the ****ing virus. Worked on one project for two years. Finally placed order. Cannot give them an ETA. Bad for business.

A pointer towards a finite outcome might be the period between the first infection is detected in a specific area and the date when there is a definite increase in the number of people who have survived

Have any countries reached this period yet? Perhaps not. We cannot rely on statistics coming out of China. In fact South Korea might be the country to watch. Excellent medical system, run by intelligent and methodical people. Contrast this to Italy, so far an absolute shambles

Even Japan has not what you might call applied all measures possible to combat the spread

We go back a few years. I was going to fly out and see her. Her daughter's are exactly how I envisioned my babies to be. Just yeah. Mother, Woman, friend, confidante.

We can talk about ANYTHING. Bosnia also been through hell. Politians also ****ing everything up. Her Dad about 5 years older than me. She's 34 this year.

Her Dad a War hero. All he wanted was peace and quiet and a country that flourishes... like here. Was my dream too for SA. I'm not a war hero. I'm a simple guy.

Neighbor’s sister lives in Milan. She says about 50% of her friends there think that this is all overblown nonsense, the other 50% are shitting themselves

The local administration is issuing conflicting instructions that change by the day. Nevertheless, there is very little traffic about and supermarkets are nearly empty. They went into the country last Sunday to buy food from farmers

Also, noone mentioned that people with ****ed lungs or smokers will die first.

Forgot to add that.
30% of smokers are in China and their air quality is the worst, probably contributed a lot to the high death rate there compared to the west.
