Then don't touch your face. We have to change behaviour. It needs to come from how we focus on things. Get more aware..
Can't pick your nose if you don't touch your face.

Corona will pass just like the various other bird, swine and other flus - most of us will probably catch it somewhere somehow, there is jackshit one can to do to stop that bar a full-on curfew and quarantine.

So meh... a vaccine will get developed and China will go back to eating bats and whatever else walks and talks......and then corona 2 and the cycle restarts

Juventus defender Daniele Rugani tested positive for the virus. I wonder who else in the team (Ronaldo?) given the close contact involved in sport. Juventus vs Lyon (Champions League) next Tuesday to be postponed?

The chances of you and me getting it are very high. What bothers me is my 71 year old mother living with me. If she gets it from one of us in the family she has an 8% chance of dieing.
If it's as contagious as its being reported then it's far more likely than not that most will contract it; Irrespective of what any government does to try to slow its spread.

Hence I suggest you stock up your medicine cabinet with pills containing ephedrine as the active ingredient e.g. Pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, Advil CS, .. ) alternatively combination of Ephedrine hydrochloride and Chlorphenamine (Sinuend, ...) -- they're good meds to prevent a worsening of the conditions that lead to bad chest infections / pneumonia and also help to alleviate sinus pain & to suppress coughing. They for me; have always suppressed the worst aspects of the flu.

Another thing that bothers me is that the health dept. is so concerned about the front door that they are forgetting about the back door...our borders. Angola for one ?
How in the world is Angola the back door to SA?

I read this too. Unbelievable. What's not clear though, was this guy stubborn, not going to a doctor when he got sick, or did he infect them before showing symptoms?
I think this article has more details regarding that case. It seems that the 50 year old infected patient got extremely sick and was put onto a mechanical ventilator and treated for pneumonia before anybody realised that he had the coronavirus by which time he had infected many friends, family members, hospital and other support staff etc. This was the first case of coronavirus in the New York area and the patient would not have been considered a high risk as he had not travelled abroad. His friends and family must have been extremely worried that he was going to die which was the reason for all the visitors!

Update at CT International Airport. Not much going on in terms of Corona virus. One or two people with face masks and all the airport staff have gloves.

That's just going to help spread the virus. Gloves on, you handle coronavirus carrier, then the next person and the next 200 people without cleaning your hands frequently. I don't know.

I flew out on Tuesday and never noticed anything other than what you said. Dubai was also the same. A few people with face masks but nothing out of the ordinary.

Arrived in Myanmar last night. These guys are taking it seriously though. Comprehensive form to fill in about movement. Quarantine station at arrivals. Notices that if you feel unwell your medical costs will be covered for quarantine. Hand sanitizers everywhere. They just seemed prepared and ready for whatever comes.
