Yes major issues with the data. Big gap.

I can see people coming home after that, visiting the doctor and saying "I feel a little horse".Doesn't surprise me. One of our directors said people are just overreacting. My line manager reckons "it's just like the flu".
Makes sense, considering this is the UK's reaction to it being declared a pandemic:

There is not a thing you can actually do to not get the virus.
Yes, you will in all likelihood cope with the virus fine. Most people will. But by carrying on as normal you could ultimately be responsible for the death of others.I listened to a podcast yesterday & the host apparently spoke to a doctor.
She apparently isn't concerned cos she has a decent immune system & says only people who have low immunity will be affected. Blanket statements make it things seem trivial.
I find this really irresponsible. The Hiv infection rate is very high in SA, Obese people are at risk, people with heart issues(including high blood pressure) & people with Diabetes.
These medical issues have occurred more frequently over the years
The interview with the head professor in Italy kinda proved anybody is at risk.
Neigh, puns are not allowed in here.I can see people coming home after that, visiting the doctor and saying "I feel a little horse".
But I don't think the person quoted was suggesting carrying on as usual.Yes, you will in all likelihood cope with the virus fine. Most people will. But by carrying on as normal you could ultimately be responsible for the death of others.
Jy hoef nie so lelik te wees nie.Neigh, puns are not allowed in here.
Indeed, no horsing around permittedNeigh, puns are not allowed in here.
Because most doctors read a textbook from 100 years ago & seldom keep up with current day research. Why is it irresponsible? Especially when you go on to suggest it's an entirely accurate statement.
(I mean I get you have immune issues, but that kinda proves the point of the person you quoted)
Help with what? There is not a thing you can actually do to not get the virus.
Oi! Cardiac Perfumist!Indeed, no horsing around permitted
The study concludes that temperature has significant impact on the transmission of COVID-19. There might be nonlinear dose-response relationship between the two, indicating that there is a best temperature contributing to its transmission and that low temperature is beneficial to the viral transmission. The emergence of the outbreak in Wuhan and its neighboring areas may be closely related to the local temperature. For countries and regions with a lower temperature, strict prevention and control measures should be continued to prevent future reversal of the epidemic.

I asked you about Tamiflu...
Two research papers seem to postulate that the spread of the virus is dependant on ambient temperature and humidity. The figures illustrated are as follows -
5-11 degrees Celsius and 47-79% humidity
The conclusions are as follows -
The image below predicts at risk areas in the yellow band (back circled areas are confirmed cases)

Temperature Significantly Change COVID-19 Transmission in 429 cities
Background There is no evidence supporting that temperature changes COVID-19 transmission. Methods We collected the cumulative number of confirmed cases of all cities and regions affected by COVID-19 in the world from January 20 to February 4, 2020, and calculated the daily means of the...www.medrxiv.org

Italy has been hit hard by this virus & it hasn't only been old people.
The national health institute said the average age of those who have died was 81, with the majority suffering from underlying health problems. An estimated 72% of all those who have died were men.

I need to find a link of the podcast. It did sound like she wanted things to carry on like normal, she mentioned travelling to the UK & not being concerned about it.But I don't think the person quoted was suggesting carrying on as usual.
