Yes, it is not a debate. But the thread is about using GENUINE software, not about using Windows or Linux.
Since the thread is talking about GENUINE software, and since Linux is GENUINE even if not paid for, then my post was OnTopic.


And, for the record, I only use Linux at WORK. Saying you cannot work with using Windows is a false statement.

Dude chill, I never said that you cannot work with Windows. I merely implied it is far easier especially when domains and Exchange servers are involved.
Obviously Linux is GENUINE (well most of them, others you do actually pay a license to use) so why the need to go on about it.

I have always enjoyed and loved Linux, I support OpenSource but it has a place as does Microsoft Windows and Office.

Well it looks like I might finally be getting Windows 7. I always maintained that I wouldn't pay more than R1000 for Pro or R1500 for Ultimate. Thanks to piracy, I actually get to pay a fair price for a legal Microsoft product.

Just my luck. It seems the version of Windows 7 I downloaded is too good. Just ran windows validation and the damn thing passes. I even managed to install MSE. Anyone know of any iso downloads that are guaranteed to fail windows validation?

Generally anything that mentions "SLIC" in the NFO will act as yours does & won't fail in the desired manner.

lol, just search ebay for windows 7 key, its a key only, you still need a disc. A few sellers there.
I validated and activated, 100% genuine. I dont need a disc I have a copy already.
