This smart little device allows you to run xbox 360 games of a portable storage device, neat right, adding just the .iso file onto the portable and running it off the device, the device intercepts between the xbox motherboard and dvd drive, and the drive doesnt need to be flashed and updated with new FW's all the time, the device can work with the xbox dvd rom or you can completly remove the dvd rom and just use this device in its place

Looking at importing a few, jhb area see how reviews go when released, this should also include a remote, so getting up and changing a game should be no issues...

They already have a reseller in SA, check their site.

Also, this was supposed to be released last month, then beginning of this month, and now we're still waiting. They only sent out kits to beta testers this month, so I'm not holding my breath to see this soon.

I'm also looking forward to it and will definitely buy it, but I'm not expecting it anytime soon. If they only started assembling prototypes 19 days ago, then still had to send to beta testers, then I doubt it will be ready soon.

There's another company doing the exact same thing, but at half the cost, will see if I can find the details...

True true, I think its xnode or something but I think for a offline console this is great, as it saves on all the new fw updates, disc burning and all that if a game is good then you knw you can burn it and play it on another console that's my case, but I'm looking forward to this hopefully soon hey

Ahh I found a official reseller in the usa, and the cost of buying 5 of these device (friends) works out to r668 per person exlc shipping cost which is r300 for all 5 in total...the price is even less for the more people who order it, might be worth it, UK site is also only around 750 for the device

Not a problem.
THe us importing will work out cheaper seeing that its about R660 ish per person + R300 / 5 for shipping.

Problem might come in with import duties and such.
