Well I am still await response about my x360key that i returned to cextreme as it is faulty. Still shocking customer service. I have to email a few times and post on their facebook to get a reply. The last time I heard from them they said it had been sent back to Thailand for inspection.... that was 24 Jan....... not impressed.

I install x360Key Xbox's or sell it standalone. Normal ETA is 5-8 working days as it is couriered to SA not airmailed!

My console has been with them for around 9 days now and i have not had status update on it yet. I have posted a message on their help desk about it as well but no reply for 3 days now.
Have emailed them today. Lets see if i get a reply to my email.

Google- xbox 360 laser calibration

Alternatively replace the entire laser head.

That's rather unfortunate in regards to Console Extreme. Seems that are far too busy if communication is an issue ...

“iru786“, apparently your console was shipped out on the day of your post. Sorry for the delays caused, sometimes shipping delays are inevitable especially when the Console comes from far off. Regarding feedback on the tracking system, typically they are responded to within 48 hours but this can sometimes be extended before and just after weekends when the volume of emails are really high.

Team Xecuter Presents RGH 2.0

The newly formed RGH Development Team at Xecuter HQ are proud to announce that all Phat consoles have now been defeated and are totally glitch-able without having a previous NAND dump or CPU KEY (the same applies to Slim Trinity that have been updated to 14717/14719) !

Codenamed RGH 2.0, new features introduced:

Hack now works on new CB's (14717/14719 update)
Hack now works with all Refurbished Split CB's (4577, 5772, 6752)
- Zephyr CB 4577, 4575
- Falcon/Opus CB 5772, 5773
- Jasper CB 6752, 6753
- Trinity (Slim) CB 9230

To confirm, we can now glitch Phats with any kernel and any bootloader. As soon as you have your CPU KEY, and you are using an Xecuter DemoN you will ALWAYS be able to switch to a fully hacked NAND and it can never be stopped no matter what update you apply and no matter which efuses are blown !

We will be helping the J-Runner team to implement all of the new code which will allow you to build a patched ecc for any Phat NAND / Kernel / Bootloader.

The Xenon RGH hack will also be released however the quality of glitching seems to be as poor as the infamous Zephyr. No doubt once its out there users can tweak away at it and get some better results, the feeling here is that it's time wasted at the moment when we should be working on Corona. Currently it's a "repair" method at best to rescue DVD keys.

This is a new style of RGH hack (hence RGH 2.0) and there will be a new JED file, changes to the CoolRunner design, changes to the QSB's and possibly new install methods (we'll also show you how to change your older version TX CoolRunner to be compatible with the new hack, and initial tests have shown that other cheaper versions of RGH hardware will not work at all).

Work on fine tuning the hack is currently ongoing to make it as solid as possible, however we hope to have everything ready asap.

Members of our team are also working hard on the new Slim Corona model and can tell you that great progress has made made there too. We'll just say that we feel bad for anyone who paid good money for any glitch mod that was advertised as being "Corona Ready".

As far as I know none at the moment. Let me explain. If you have a older dash like the one you explained you can still jtag but it will be RGH 1.0 with really good boot times. If you happened to update to the latest dash you will need to have RGH 2.0 done which has quite bad boot times although I don't think that even matters or atleast for me.

I stand to be corrected.

So my advice would be to leave it at that. I did my console @ cextreme and they installed the latest dash too when they did the RGH installation for me.

If you are on 15xxx dash then you are buggered for the mean time. Best is if you are 13xxx dash - you can use RGH1 which have the best boot times by far.

Sorry I am a little bit confused , does this mean that I will be able to JTAG a phat xbox ? I have a really older one that I dont almost use anymore as the laserdisk is faulty. Its about 6-7 years old I think and its a 20Gb model. Will I be able to have that machine JTAG'd ?

It would be great as my kids can then play on the older one and give me more time on my new one (I also have a slim one )

Well yes and no. Depends on your dashboard version and xbox model?

If you are on dash 15xxx then you are buggered.

If you are on dash 14719 or higher (but not on 15xxx) then you must use RGH2 (The slims are fine, the phats are ok, but the Falcon is a bugger. Can take anywhere from a few seconds to 30 mins to startup)

If you are on anything less than 14719 then you use RGH1 - this is by fast the best and most stable. Startup in a few seconds.

If you have a non hdmi version I wouldnt bother - boot times are too unstable.
