I was 3 years behind. Old phone started giving issues so decided to replace it. Bought a 2017 smartphone. Never buy the newest phones out - pricing is just insane.

Wow that Note 2 only went up to KitKat 4.4... a lot of apps only support Android 5.0 and above now - so you're definitely NOT a power user.
