Tower went down for about 15 Minutes in Rosebank.
Since then on Multi-thread downloads I can only get 4.8 KB/s. I have alwas gotten at least 24KB/s.

Start on emultithread and it goes to 4.8 start another and both sit on 2.4

Then I see this on the Messagebord

"These upgrades will commence from 13h00 Wednesday 18th August 2004 and are expected to be completed by 25th August 2004.

The implementation will happen automatically and minimal interruption is expected as a result of this. The initial upgrade will only affect the MyWireless 256 customers and revolves around achieving fair bandwidth allocation to all MyWireless 256 users."

So are they taking away all 256 bandwith ???
WTF is going on ??
Single threads are sitting on 0.71

Well I'm also confused.

I can't get more than 3KB/s download on P2P no matter how many threads or what port, but uploads average 8KB/s (which I have set as a limit).

But right now I can get 7.2KB/s on a single thread on the SRT (unheard of!). And 13.5KB/s on the SRT with 4 threads.

I am also on Tower 60 ?? WTF?

Same here... my speed is also up to sh*t! Maybe they installed the wrong software? We are the lab bunnies on 256k.

they fcked up something. it was working quite nicely before. I get the feeling they have routed all the traffic over and ADSL or similar link temporarily while they remove some more bandwidth (well they cant be adding can they?). I think we are definitely on backup since everyone is slow right now. And surprisingly constantly slow (no spikes) as in we are sharing the limited bandwidth quite equally.
