Just got a very interesting phone call from somebody high up in NoWire, and then later an email arrived that backed it up. In short I received another two months of access (October and November) in which I will not be charged for MyWireloss. This is in addition to the one month (September) of no-charged access that I received as a rebate.
The email sent to me is being sent to a list of clients - unfortunately (or maybe because NoWire learnt from Sentech how not to do mass mailings) only my name was on the list, so I cannot tell who else will receive it. The following is the body of the email:
---
Dear Sir/ Madam
NoWire would like to apologize for the current slow speeds that you are experiencing with your Sentech MyWireless internet connectivity. The problems causing these slow speeds with your connection are currently being addressed and we expect them to be rectified by the end of October. To compensate you for this inconvenience, we will not be charging you for your airtime for October and November.
---
This to my mind clearly indicates that somebody is recognising the seriousness of the speed issues, as well as the period that it extended over.
