Not really, Interpol is also looking for them now. So that limits their options. Also the fact that they have to run from their homeland, brings me joy.

Interpol is no super agency, they still have to rely on international protocols & agreements. If it was my call, I'd say get Jason Bourne in there...

When a Gupta goes to jail for stealing billions form SA then I'll be impressed with the criminals running this country.

All this Interpol extradition hoo-haa is a big show. The Gupta's will never be tried in a court of law in this country and all the higher-ups in government know this. State capture was facilitated by these higher-ups themselves. Why would they want to implicate themselves when they know the Gupta's have truckloads of dirt on them?

And some of his assetts were determined by his bragging:

Court papers state that the Investigating Directorate had watched the clip featuring the property and identified some of the assets. They include granite carved statues of elements imported from India, several Persian carpets, “antique royal lounge chairs” imported from Jaipur Palace in India and which had been given to Sharma and his wife, Tarina, by the Rajah, a lounge suite from another palace in Gujarat and a collection of paintings and art works.

And he has been arrested, sitting in a police cell. Karma:

The order, which also covers Iqbal Sharma’s ‘Top Billing’ mansion and two others in the UAE, is being served on him in police holding cells at Bainsvlei in the Free State.

And Deloitte and Touche, better known as Toilet and Douche, in the news for all the wrong reasons - Again. No due diligence seems to have been done:

Sharma’s company Nulane Investments 204 was a shelf company with little or no track record when it was picked for the due diligence.

The State charges that his company outsourced the job to Deloitte for a fee of just R1.5-million – a fraction of the R24.9-million Nulane had charged the provincial department.

Sharma’s company then allegedly entered into a subcontract for the exact services (bought from Deloitte) with a UAE-based, Gupta-linked company, Gateway Limited, which ended up scoring R19-million from the deal.
That's what makes it all that more entertaining.
Top billing should do a follow-up.
Stripped property and its owner languishing in a free state police cell.

The lols to be had!!

This exactly, even if they are tried and convicted, it will just be a matter of months before they are on medical parole and playing golf ala Shabir Sheik.
When you have dirt on everyone then your own dirt doesnt matter all that much.

Truth is the dirt on everyone tale is starting to get old, very fast.

The Guptas were allowed to get away because Zuma's administration compromised all law enforcement agencies and state institutions, it has nothing to do with them having dirt on everyone.

Unraveling the mess obviously takes time and that's what Zuma and his people were banking on, some evidence and investigations were so compromised that they can never be salvaged, that is the reason some people will get away with murder.
