NSA spying led to "over 100" arrests internationally

Let's assume the NSA spent $10b on these ops - people, equipment, offices, etc.

That works out to $100m per arrest.

The US taxpayer must be hoping their isn't an upsurge in baddies. This can get very, very, very, very expensive.

Good business for Seagate, WD, and others.
 
So we just have to take their word for it that these people were criminals. The US government locks up more innocent people than any other western government.
 
Over a 100 is still a small figure compared to the amount of data they are mining
