I'm trying to use ntp.is.co.za via the sentech connection to synch our domain's time, but it no longer works (Domain Controller just says its getting an invalid response from it).

Anyone know of another server I should/could use?

Rather try
bs2.infosat.net
IS is currently being phased out of Sentech

Edit - bdt, using the csir is not a bad move as they are the only site in SA to my knowledge that has an official and formal connection to the Boulder, Colorado Atomic Clock. This is THE master global time-keeper :)
(I took a photo of this atomic clock, during a visit back in 1997, if anyone wants to see what it looks like)

I've always found happiness with tick.nml.csir.co.za

A good local time related resource for me is: http://www.time.za.net

I am still able to use the IS service:
<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">
[privet@pion ~]$ /usr/sbin/ntpq -p boson
remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter

LOCAL(0) LOCAL(0) 10 l 2 64 377 0.000 0.000 10.010
+hermes.is.co.za tick.icomtek.cs 2 m 689 1024 377 238.370 93.028 46.940

EDIT... <b>bs2.infosat.net</b> looks like a good option:

Thanks guys. bs2.infosat.net works perfectly. I'll use the others as secondary sources.
