I've got the console and am loving it. The tablet looks amazing but I'm not really one for the form factor so ja, but if I were to get a tablet, the shield would defs be it

That's awesome! I'm glad to hear that the console rocks. Can it stream Netflix? How is the quality and price here in SA?

Haha! Android is doing a better job lately.

That does not really count as new, technically they have always been doing a better job, they just now doing a better job of that.

Yes it can, I have Netflix and Hulu+ up and running on it, the initial setup was done through a VPN to the USA in order to install the relevant apps from the US app store. I purchased it through Amazon around March, and with an extra controller and expedited shipping it came to about R4k

Earlier this year I was looking to buy a new tab when I got robbed.
Insurance paid out with a card I could only use at physical stores, and I could not find this tab anywhere. it was my top choice though.

I ended up getting a Lenovo tab instead, and I have been super happy with it.

I see this tablet goes for around 5k now.

I'm in the market for an android tablet but....don't know.

Seems like an absolute monster of a tablet.

I think it is the best tablet you can spend your money on. Top range components for low end prices. The mini hdmi out is awesome if you need a device to connect to a projector.
