Several House Democrats were arrested on Tuesday while protesting outside the Supreme Court over its decision to overturn constitutional protections for abortion access.

The group of Democratic lawmakers and others marched over to the high court from the Capitol while chanting "we won't go back" and "our body our choice" -- the latest demonstration after five conservative justices ruled last month to reverse the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that first legalized abortions nationwide.

Seventeen lawmakers in total were arrested, according to Capitol Police, including Reps. Katherine Clark of Massachusetts, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, and Illinois' Jan Schakowsky. The charge was crowding, obstructing or incommoding, police said.

So they unlawfully stormed the High court building like savages and Harris must have given them the order on Twitter right?:unsure: She must be banned ASAP for inciting violence they are a significant threat to the judicial system:ROFL:

AOC and The Squad are Acting on behest of the DNC.

The Police didn't even put handcuffs on her but she still put her hands behind her back as if they did.

When is AOC and The Squad going to Force the Vote on important issues like MediCare for All and the Minimum Wage. The Liberals control both Arms of Government yet do nothing but make out as if they are fighting for your rights with Abortion issues.

All the SCOTUS did was move the issue of Abortion back to the State Level. People who live in California can still have Abortions and people who live in more Conservative States can go to places where they can get Abortions. This is all a damp squib, when the real issues are that the world is still reeling from 2 years of lockdowns, businesses have closed, people are financially desperate to mention just the tip of the iceberg there, but we must listen to this raving lunatic of a woman, who might I add has never even had a baby or understands the meaning of life in the womb because you need to experience the love of a child to grasp this.

For 50 years Roe vs Wade has been around and the Democrats have had full control of Government more than once during that period but have never codified the issue into law because they don't want to. Why? Is it because otherwise they'll have nothing to run on come election time.

The Democrats have nothing to run on for the 2022 Mid Terms, the USA has 9.1 Inflation and High Gas Prices and they know their Brandon is sucking at the Polls, so this is the distraction to keep the sheep looking away from the real issues.

Abortion and Jan 6 is all the Democrats have.

America is fast losing its status as the worlds champion and superpower with Brandon at the Wheel and the Pentagon have known since 2008 already that they can't keep pushing Ukraine into NATO and expect Russia to keep accepting the Eastwards Expansion thereof.

So why is a peaceful protest considered illegal?

We also all know that devolving this to the states is removing people's choice and options. It's ludicrous to think that everyone can afford to travel to another state for the procedure. That's before considering that various states have or will make it illegal to travel elsewhere to have it done. Neither can everyone just relocate. So what is the real motive behind the far right Republican Party's obsession with abortion? We know they don't actually care about the welfare of babies or children.

Peaceful is irrelevant. You are always suppose to be arrested and then released with a slap on the wrist. The same with people blocking the road for example, which is what they were doing. The fact that she pretended to be handcuffed is just par for the course with her and her desperation for media attention.

That's incorrect. People demanded that the government not be involved and that is what they effectively did with the RvW decision. Having the states decide for themselves is how the USA is supposed to operate.

Face consequences for what exactly? If the non-adversarial show trial had any actual evidence it would have showed it already.
I'd rather be worried about the abuse of power by delaying proceedings against the many innocent protestors sitting with trumped up charges for over a year and a half.
