Odd Problem with Download Speeds on Telkom LIT Box

I'm on a 20mbps fibre line and my download speed on my Telkom LIT box drops to 1-2mbps from about 7pm in the evenings. My iPad (via wifi) and PC (via CAT5 cable) that are connected to the same router are unaffected and have consistent download speeds of between 18-21mbps.

I have tried disconnecting all devices from the router except for the LIT box. I have tried the LIT box on Wifi and also plugged in. Nothing seems to make a difference. During the day the box gets the same download speeds as the other devices.

I can't think of any rational reason for this. If anyone can shed some light on this issue I'd be most grateful.

This is interesting, how do you see the LIT's download speed? Is there a native app?

I'm on Telkom 20mb fibre as well, so can test and report back.
