ODS and BitTorrent

I've had an ODS account for a few weeks now, and I've yet to manage to get the proxy to work properly with BitTorrent (Kazaa is fine). Even downloading from Eurogamer.net is horrendously slow (usually less than 1kb/s) at the very best, and it takes about an hour to download a single megabyte. I've been using Sockscap, because I can't even gain access to the Socks5 proxy without it.

I haven't had a problem using other proxies that require authentification with BT and, seeing as more and more legitimate sites (Eurogamer is a prime example) are using the program to distribute their files these days, it's only reasonable to expect support for the network. Has anyone managed to get it to work with an ODS proxy?

Other than this, I'm very happy with the level of service on offer. :)

We now have a work around for bit torrent. We also now offer a VPN service for companies who want to link up the branch office via ADSL. They have been tested and are working brilliantly !

Even with those fixes you e-mailed me, I couldn't get BT working. Has anyone else had any luck?

Also, is it just me, or has Socks 5 support been down since Friday?

I'm using a router, but BT works perfectly when uncapped (50 - 60kb/s). The standard BitTorrent client only uses ports 6881 through 6889, but the likes of BitComet, Azureus etc let you channel traffic through whichever port you fancy (I use port 80 or 21 when uncapped). This is not a problem on my side, seeing as I've had no problem using BT with other Socks 5 proxies, and I'm getting rather tired of sitting around waiting.

Has anyone else actually had any success at all with BitTorrent and ODS? Dean, did those workarounds work for you, or did you just mail them to me hoping they would work?
