Replacing Bismarck and Jannie at 50 mins was also a mistake. Right after that our scrums and line outs went to hell.

Interesting tweet from Johnathan Kaplan... says that if the try was not awarded it was possible that a penalty try was on the cards for Schalk diving onto the player. Depends on the question to the TMO.

How can a penalty try even be thought of when he was going for the prevention of the try. It happens in every single game, so single Burger out is ludicrous but typical.

You may not dive onto the player on the ground. JK did say it would depend on the question asked.

Regardless of that decision they deserved the win. We tossed it away in the last 10 minutes.

The Kiwis are gonna run all over us. I'm not impressed with our performance today.

Agree..

We are still playing the same style from 20 years ago...

Any person that believed this morning before the game that we would beat the Aussies is a fool!

In my opinion Schalk had a very good chance to stop that try... then he dived right over.

The Boks are in a good place.

Just a few people that doesn't belong anywhere near the field: Jannie, Habanna, Peterson and Pienaar.

Kiwis are going to mess with us, now and at the RWC (if we meet them, big if). We're simply too one-dimensional and not rugby clever enough. We're probably a good no 2 in the world, despite today's performance. But FAR from No 1.

The Northern teams are already sharpening up, they don’t dwindle in World Cup rugby. New Zealand must shine that no.1 position in every game to achieve the cup, consistency is key.

So I missed yesterday's game because I was driving. Listened on the radio.

Watched the highlights now.

Well done to Australia for not settling for a draw.

How good was that Jesse Kriel try? Rugby porn.

Lood de Jager did really well. Mohoje failed to impress again.

What the hell happened to our scrum? Dominating one minute and stuck in reverse the next.

Terrible about Coetzee. If Meyer needs Jaco Kriel's number. I can send it to him now.

Our subs didn't come to the party where Aussies were superb. The game was won and lost on the bench imho.

Marcel's injury isn't anything serious. Jaco can carry on mowing the lawn.

We kicked the game away. :(

Haven't known a side to score without the ball.

QFT. The 63%-37% possession stat says it all.
The last 30 minutes all we did was watch the Aussies run at us and as usual (HM game plan?) when we do get good ball we kick it away almost every time.

This.

I foresee the AB's klapping us with 14+ points.
