Yeah, but his error was as a result of extreme pressure. Aussies were chasing shadows..

and then some. AB's were vicious. Wonderful to watch

Nah man, that's such a defeatist attitude!

I've reached a point Saturday past. Springbok rugby is moer toe. rigged maybe.
We're embarrassing ourselves.

I so hope SA loses tonight
had enough of all the bullschit in Springbok rugby
Meyer - maybe till after 2019 :wtf:
Victor back :wtf:
Alberts :wtf:
Pienaar :wtf:
Zane :wtf: ---maybe he'll take the high ball

As this gentleman said

You do lack optimism.

They will need to give Alberts game time as he may be a backup lock in the World Cup squad. He is also a consistent ball chaser and do carry (when it suits his day).

Zane is good, he’s playing improved rugby at his club. What he did lack is completed tackles, maybe Leinster worked on this…

I can agree with Pienaar and Victor, but I will throw JdV in there as well.

I don’t like Meyer as the Springbok coach, but I do believe that he’s in the hotseat created by politics. He dropped Scarra on Thursday whilst in the Cosatu rambling so things heading up to the World Cup squad selection will be very interesting… I do expect to see a dominant Blue Bull selection.

Ultimately we may take a knock here and there, but the Springboks can muster up determination.

Meyer is only there because he had the best transformation agenda on the table for SARVU....and where is that transformation
Actually, nowadays we don't have to use that word or quota for that matter....the pool of equally good and better non-white players are getting big...many players putting up their hands.

Jdv? oh right, experience...pfft. We just need experience. K@k story...a player can play 2/3/4 test matches and he'll know what it's about.

Zane is actually much better in defense than Willie...I'll give him that.

Bottom line problem is Meyer. He's outdated and should stand down

Another big issue is all those under21 Springboks from the last few years who stood out....where are they?

I'll agree with that!!

With the exception of when Mallet was coaching and Danie Gerber was playing! Great periods of Bok rugby!!

Thinking back of the 80's makes me more angry looking at today's chaos

The World XV crushed the Japanese. Naiyaravoro... talent galore. The Wallabies really wanted him in their WC squad.

Japan 20 - 45 World XV

The mighty might Japanese? :p Naiyaravoro could have crushed them on his own.

:D

Not many people know it, but Naiyaravoro is also conditioned as a lock. I’m really glad to see the islanders getting the exposure on national level. He and Nadolo is likely to play together in the World Cup, may give a surprise or two when they play against the English and Wales.

Pool A, pool of death!! Such a tough pool!!

Would love to see them beat Wales. Wales have lost twice to Samoa in RWC, it's the chance of the Fijians this year!

What impressed me is how these islanders which played in lower tiered clubs excelled to premier level and being good at it. It shows how much management (and money) can change your game or optimise and improve your skillsets and team participation.

The same principle can be applied to the Pumas and they are a recognised tier 1 opposition today.

Maybe the expanded Super Rugby isn’t a bad idea, as long as they utilise the talent to breach the developing phase and get more people into being developed as top-class players.

Watching France England myself for now. Cracking first 20. England looking very sharp. They'll be spent by the time they meet us in the quarters though.

Game to start soon.

If South Africa win or lose HM will spin it in some positive way. Result IMO is pointless unless Arg thrash us.
