I also like Faf but he is untested.

Heyneke clearly wants to build some continuity before the Rugby Champs. Thus playing as close as a full strength side (in his mind) as he can.

Chances are Faf will not get a chance unless Reinach or Pienaar gets injured and Du Preez doesn't recover in time.

Good team overall. Isn't Louw usually a 7 and Coetzee a 6?

I'm also not quite convinced about Pietersen on the wing. He's too slow, and doesn't have the spontaneity we need out wide.

Not crazy about Pienaar, but we don't have much choice. Would have preferred Reinach starting with Faf on the bench, but Reinach's coming back from injury makes that difficult.

I'm optimistic about Kriel in the midfield, strong deceptive runner. As long as Meyer doesn't pull a Serfontein on him...

The problem is that Meyer thinks experience = still good enough.

That whole team smacks of that sentiment.

Well, he sent Jacque Fourie packing back to Japan to improve his fitness... So not always. :p

I actually think he's mixing it up well. Midfield has very little to no experience, 10 is still a young'un, and some of the more experienced folk are still top class.

Don't like the Du Plessis brothers much, but what can you do.

Marcell started out at the Sharks as a 7.

I hope Bakkies comes back and dishes out a PK to a certain Jannie.
