Michy interests me. Looks to have good attributes and will be cheaper than other options such as Morata

Things are very quiet on the transfer front. Life as an arsenal supporter.
In other news: Xhaka changed his number from 16 to 29.

It's all about the Euro's now. Don't expect any dealings for the next few weeks.

On the other hand Xhaka might be our only signing for the window. You know Wenger, He will just say: "Last year everyone was complaining I didn't sign an outfield player and now I signed one and people are still complaining. There is no way to satisfy the fans." :p

And now that we've offloaded Rosicky, Arteta and Flamini, there's less long term injuries, except for Welbeck, so he'll use that as an excuse for not signing anyone "because where will he play everyone", until Nov/Dec, when half the midfield gets injured AGAIN, and we're right back at square one.

The joys of being a Gooner! :D

Do see lots of links to defenders so their might be something up.

"Chief executive Ivan Gazidis says Arsenal are preparing for the "long-term" under Arsene Wenger despite the Frenchman entering the final year of his contract with the club."

We're stuck with Wenger for the next 10 years. Yay. 10 years of the same. :(

Transfers in general appear to be very quiet

Effect of the Euros I reckon - managers using it as a final "view before I buy" opportunity

Checked out few youtubes of Morata, seems skillful and deadly.
I still feel we would be better off with a Chicharito

Kind of risky, no? Player they're scouting does a good job and other clubs will be in for him. Prices after the Euros are sure to go up for players who performed well.

Suppose paying more for proven quality might be worth it.

Twitter is going a bit mental right now. We've apparently triggered Vardy's £20mil release clause. o_O
