Last year we lost to West Ham at home opening day. Year before that we lost to Villa iirc. Won't be so sure though.

As for Leicester, buying their squad would make that game a little more comfortable. :p

Best news ever the fact that he decided to stay at Leicester. Problem is, no Arsenal transfer activity as Wenger is doing his stint at the Euros again.

Also we won't ever get rid of bloody Giroud as his great benefactor Arsene awarded him a 140k bumper contract. He should be put down for some of the shaft decisions he has made for this club in his dotage.

Don't mind giroud. I do mind Walcott who is on more than giroud and contributes far less. Wenger hoped Walcott was going to be that guy to give us something different upfront but I guess the man wasn't up for it

Possession at all costs? I think you mistaking LVG's team for your Arsenal :p Arsenal is more of a tika/fast pace team no?

no possession at all cost was Pep's Barca 80% possession passing the ball around and passing it into the net. LVG was pass the ball left, right, back and maybe forward if no one is around - they don't even know where the goals are and bore themselves to death which results in mistakes in the second half

Now that players we need no longer want to join us, we have got to take chances with up and coming talent. ^ looks more like a winger
