So 1-1 against Lens. I watched bits of the game. Nice finish by Ox.

Was interesting to see Debuchy throwing himself around the pitch. Makes me wonder if he is part of our plans this season.

Noticed that too. Not very keen on tracking back

I wish these rumours would just happen. Mahrez + Lacazette ... that will be fine thanks. Come on now... or am i doing this wrong by getting my hopes up like a typical gooner ? :(

Yep, you're just being a Gooner

Honestly, I'm not expecting anymore signings. If there are, it will be a pleasant surprise. Let the fight for 4th commence!

Lol yeah thought so. Might as well give up and just accept the fact that we going into the season with 1 decent striker. As you say, battle for 4th, Woo-hoo.

Outsider looking in perspective: How the hell does Arsene not realise the need for a out-an-out quality striker? your team has been crying for one since RVP left. His inability / refusal to sign one is mindboggling. If I was an Arsenal Supporter, I'd be raging.

We have our outbursts and then silently go back to our corners and weep.

When the board, managers and shareholders say that we don't need any new signings and that this is what success is built on.... Well you sort of get the drift of their vision.

Its disgraceful and even through all the good Wenger had brought us its fken time now, just go.

I honestly don't get it. He surely can't be that stubborn or blinded. He's a quality manager for the most part and I'm sure he isn't delusional so he must recognise the need. SO WHY, WHY ????

I think it sort of goes like "ok well we need a striker, lacazette could be good"

40 million please

"pfffft **** that, 40 mil whatever, we have enough strikers"

Think it's pure stubbornness and scrooge mcduck tactics.

What pisses me off the most is how patronising they are to fans. Making it out as if most Arsenal fans are crying out for them to spend money for the sake of spending money. They come with their snappy comebacks how money doesn't = success, look at Leicester etc.

Most fans I talk to simply want them to address the gaping holes in the squad and if that is going to cost 60mil plus then so be it. Wenger and the board are so out of touch with the fans it's crazy.

It's all simmering below the surface and if we get off to a bad start this is bound to boil over.

When people defy logic on such an epic scale on such a regular basis it just blows my mind. There is not logical explanation for wtf they're doing.

In a sense I feel for Wenger, because he totally cocking up his legacy. How much of it he is doing so himself I reckon we'll only find out in his book when he retires.

It seem Lyon tweeted that they rejected a 35mil Euro bid for Lacazette from Arsenal. They want to keep the player or more money.

Bidding 35mil for a 25 year old striker who's scored 50 goals in the last two seasons in the current market is such a Wenger thing to do that I'm about 99% sure this is true.

I don't really have an opinion on the player, but he seems to know where the goals are and we only have one striker so I'll take it.

Looks like Per will be out for months. Surely we cant start with Holding against Pool?

Lol, just keeps getting better n better :D

35 mil bid rejected, so yeah, Lyon said no and because i that i bet a statement will come out soon with "we have enough attacking options" in Wal****, Akpom (potential but not ready), Sanogoal, and Giroud. Fantastic.

wow really? you really want to end up like United right now???

Who do you think you will get to replace Wenger? who do you think will be able to push for top 4 finish yearly on a shoestring budget?

Speaking of splashing the cash - who is out there that will fit into Arsenal's budget?
