Jip, it would be madness to start holding. Throwing the poor guy to the wolves. Imagine if he made a mistake that led to a goal and the fans start getting on his back.

Haha fullbacks at CB, midfielders on the wings the Arsenal way.
Didn't the same thing happen to Chambers? Can't remember the game now but he got skinned. Luckily everyone had a go at AW instead of Calum.

was it not the Swansea game, he was getting ripped to shreds by montero

He was playing right back that day iirc.

His debut was in the 3-0 win over City in the Charity Shield (according to wiki). He played as central def with Kos that day.

Ah got it: was the home game against Liverpool when he was at the back with Gabriel. Misplaced passes to Coutihno, etc.

Wenger said in interview yesterday that due to Per injury he is bringing in an experienced defender. Good news if you forgot that the last time he said that we ended up with Squillaci. :p

He always uses that little bit phrase and follows up with it accurately
Just trying to find the right player with a little bit top, top quality, now that Per is 2 to 3 months away from being 2 to 3 months away.

If you're on Twitter I recommend following Wenger Knows Best. Funny as hell.

So 2-1 last night. Drogba scoring against us as per usual. Campbell with a pen and Akpom with the winner in 87min.

Was it on SS? Looks like we have goals in us so don't see why we need a striker haha.
Did Coq play CB?

Only watched highlights on YouTube. Belik started at CB with holding. Not sure if the game was on SS.

Way too many of those. Always at the point where we've shown the player around the training ground, or he's already had a trial, but then in AW's own words, "we were too slow out of the blocks".

What the utter **** has gone on at this club since Dein left? Completely useless CEO and owner! We can blame AW all we want, but he obviously identified and put forward every name on that list, but it was Gazidis and Co who stalled with the paperwork and probably tried to shave a few £ off the deal. And then another club came along, didn't **** around, and the player went elsewhere.

Honestly, I've started googling our transfer activity every morning now just for a laugh...

That article must be very depressing for an Arsenal fan....

What a terrible click bait article. The best thing about it is how it easily riles up Arsenal supporters.

If you actually read it, you can probably put any team's name in there in a lot of those "players that got away"

It's easy to predict who will become great players after they do...

I agree with you to an extent. Since Dein left the best we came up with as a transfer enforcer is Dick Law & Disorder. Then again, David Dein isn't a saint. He sold out to Fat & Orange for one and don't forget that his son, Darren, was instrumental in the selling of certain key players.
