*sniff* those were the days. When we weren't worried whether or not we were going to score - our only concern was how many.

Yeah, thank goodness those days are behind us....:p

Just hope you dont turn into a possession side like we were last season...thats just unbearable.

We did that during the Arselona days. Was pretty to watch when we walked he ball into the net, but people caught on really quickly and figured out the way to be beat us was to just make sure we never had the ball - we didn't have a plan B, so we became an easy game. This transitioned into the hold up/possession play we see today - which is an extremely un-Arsenal approach. Le Boss has run out of ideas!

Yeah, I dont know that "Hold up play" Arsenal. I was used to that counter attack Arsenal and dreaded it when Henry, Pirez, Lumberg ect got the ball from us loosing possession....scary stuff

Or when Barthez used to throw the ball straight to Henry.

So apparently Mustafi has agreed to join us... fee hasn't been agreed yet. Are we going to follow suite and low ball them and then the deal falls through? I Wouldn't be surprised.

Dont really know much about him so don't know if he's good or not, but a welcome addition! I hope he's not as raw as when Gabriel started.

He has a release clause of 23 million Pounds. They (Valencia) said they aren't selling him for less. We all know Arsenal will try and pay less than the clause. He'll probably settle in nicely, seeing as we have a few German players at the club and he probably speaks English.

He only has 132 club appearances over the past 6 years (has 1 for Everton). And only played for Germany 12 times since being called up 2 years ago.

Hopefully he'll be another Kos-type that becomes awesome, and not a dud.

From what I read the medical staff said the guy was crocked, but Wenger just said f it. Sign him. Strange indeed.

No time to sign anyone else. That was a story on Reddit about his experience at Arsenal.

What oyu talking about? He was the one that let Pogba run circles around him and cross in for the decisive goal

Lets ignore his teammate who lost possesion in his own box forcing him wide to cut-off Pogba. Pogba never when around him, he simply failed to stop Pogba from getting the cross in, which was horribly dealt with by the other defender and the keeper.
