I'm a bit worried if we'll get anyone since Wenger doesn't like to pay the asking price. On a positive note we lost the first game in the Invincible era as well.

Trolly dash will be difficult. Mainly because he can't seem to identify more than two targets at once. Lacazette said that if serious offers come in, he'll go - which automatically excludes us. Valencia want more for Mustafi as well, probably because they can now smell the desperation.

And Ramsey is out for a month (so 3 months).

dealing with Valencia should've been a slam dunk, they have no European football thanks to the Neville brothers they came 12th. They have a lot of talent waiting to get snatched up all you gotta do is just pay the damn money 25mil is nothing in this era of crazy tv money

have we been relegated yet?

Nope, we're 4 places off the relegation zone. So safe for now.

Since we missed out on signing Vardi, how many goals you guys reckon he is putting past us this weekend. Surely he is going to score.

I think Leicester will revert to their mid/low tableness.

No reason we cant beat them, again

The Henry postmatch analysis was pretty damning. Maybe he's right in saying that players don't see us as a big club anymore if we can't even land someone like Vardy.

We have CL football, but players want to join a side that's capable of WINNING it. Hell, even a side that ISN'T in the CL signed a player for £89mil. Pogba probably knows that Mourihno has a very good chance of challenging for it next season, and may even win the EPL before that.

And now WATFORD are out bidding us, too! We offered £16mil, they offered £20 and got the deal. Will post the link later.

How could we have lost the first game in the invincible era. We went the whole season unbeaten?

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results” - Not sure why Wenger thinks this doesn't apply to his business model.

I think you guys will beat Leicester.

The removal of Kante from their midfield has removed an essential element of what made them successful last season.

In addition, everyone now has a specific plan for them and won't underestimate them they way they did last season.

A bit of trolling but we lost the Community Shield 4-3 on penalties.

Hahaha.... here is a Wenger quote from the Wiki page after the loss in the Charity shield.

He was unhappy with the league season commencing on the following Saturday: "I would have preferred to have had two more weeks, especially for the French players who were in the Confederations Cup. We certainly were not as fit as Manchester United and know many of our players were behind them fitness-wise."

Sounds like his excuse after the Liverpool game.
