I hoped we would off-load Theo this window but that seem unlikely. I wonder if his wages is the main thing that's stopping other clubs for going for him, except his obvious ****tiness of course.
He's an amazing player one of the best wingers in the world. Even Messi said so.

The Corporal is back in training, too. Chambers may go on loan, and Asano has signed with Stuttgart for the season.

^I think he could be a very, very good RB. Reckon Debuchy is on his way too if we can find a buyer. If not then it's loansville for him. I don't really care where.

On the arsecast they made the point that wages and not transfer fee could exlain Wenger's reticence. Especially if it doesn't work out.

For a mostly "settled" side not disrupted by signings and exits this pathetic side looks disjointed as hell and out of sorts. Under the kosh by Watford in the early exchanges here.

In the bag. Glad we did the business in the first half. Pity the same attitude didn't make it our the tunnel for the second.

Only Watford, but it'll do.

Leicester, Liverpool and Watford, 4 points just about acceptable.

2 signings expected, future looks bright

Didn't see it, but apparently confirmed in the post match interview that we've signed them.

What do you guys think of Xhaka performance? I know its too early to judge but he definitely had a good game and his passing range is awesome.

He just needs to avoid the yellows. I'm loving me some Xhaka Zulu, though! Wenger said the he reminds him a bit of Petit, and he was always one of my favourite players. He brings a lot more to the table than the Coq - calm, collected, a better tackler, and a much better passer. He's the midfield enforcer we've needed since Vieira left.

Mustafi will slot in right next to Kos, which relegates Per and Gabriel to the bench when they're fit - not complaining, but another club captain that won't get game time?

I'm most concerned with Perez - AW doesn't like the idea of two strikers, so it's going to be him or Giroud. I'd like to see both playing, though.
