He just needs to avoid the yellows. I'm loving me some Xhaka Zulu, though! Wenger said the he reminds him a bit of Petit, and he was always one of my favourite players. He brings a lot more to the table than the Coq - calm, collected, a better tackler, and a much better passer. He's the midfield enforcer we've needed since Vieira left.

Mustafi will slot in right next to Kos, which relegates Per and Gabriel to the bench when they're fit - not complaining, but another club captain that won't get game time?

I'm most concerned with Perez - AW doesn't like the idea of two strikers, so it's going to be him or Giroud. I'd like to see both playing, though.

as I said him and coq are going to rack up 20 yellows between them, we've really missed the days when we had cm's who can put a foot in when necessary

BREAKING: Sky Sources: @Boro agree season-long loan for @Arsenal defender @CalumChambers95. More here: http://skysports.tv/xVHd9l #SSNHQ

Hmm, so Holding over Chambers? I guess with the Corp training with us it means we have some sort of cover at RB, because I don't see Debuchy being on our books come 1 September. CB will be Mustafi and Kos (Holding as cover with Per and Gabriel, too, when fit), LB will be Nacho (and Gibbs for cover).

Midfield looks balanced for a change. Walcott got called up (so expect an imminent injury - Joel leaving is even more puzzling then), but Jack didn't (honestly we need to wrap him in cotton as much as possible).

Up front we have Giroud + Perez? Welbs is out until 2025 (maybe), but I guess Sanchez or Walcott could give it a go down the middle if needed.

Arguably, our most important player will be Santi. Our season went to complete **** last year when he got injured. Aren't many like him in the league. Did anyone see in the Watford game where Santi was about to take a corner with his right, but Kos asked him to take it with his left, so he did?

yep seen that :D, that is what I love about him. He just sees passes and plays them with pin point accuracy no matter which way he is facing. He doesn't need to get the ball onto his "stronger" foot.

One thing I just want to rant about though is this fcking new goal rush crap that Sky (or whoever is giving the EPL feed to DSTV). I chose to watch the Arsenal game to watch the actual game. Not for the screen to be minimized and random ****e from other games being played at the same time popping up.

It also destroys watching the highlights for the other games afterwards because now you have seen all the goals.

does anybody else get annoyed with it?

Whilst goal rush is annoying - it helps me keep UTD on my fantasy team so I ain't complaining :D

Goal rush disturbs the game. Would be different if it was last round of games and the league title was at stake

Goal Rush is complete shyte! Just like you say, I chose to watch the Arsenal game not some other f'n game! Don Hutchison, the commentator, was constantly interrupted to talk about a goal that was scored in another game. The match felt start-stop to me because of it.

I loved the system they used in the past; where they had a small banner at the bottom of the screen with score updates from other games. Why change something that isn't broken?

I also hate the new team lineout. They dont show the names of the players on the pitch map, but instead show the numbers, and then the player names in the list on the left

And the colors they have used in these years displays are really

Hate the goal rush too. The game against Watford was the perfect kind of game to just relax and know the boys have what it takes. But then this thing pops up of Chelsea scoring over and over and my blood starts boiling!

Yeah, I expect Mustafi to walk straight into the first team. If Jenks is still injured, I reckon it's a bit risky letting Debuchy go. Especially since Chambers is off on loan.

Yep, I'm pretty happy with our midfield. Didn't see the game but saw the extended highlights. Xhaka looks quite the package and what more can I say about Santi. He's a joy to watch. The difference with Ozil in the team is tangible. Sanchez up front looks much more menacing.

Sanchez up front is an experiment that needs some more testing. I was looking at Perez's highlight reel and this caught my eye. If he can ghost past defenders like this consistently and with the midfield supplying him with ammo he could be deadly.
