Rambo and Lego Hair will miss the next two games (Gala and Chel$ki). Hoping Abou gets a run and stays fit. He may be what we're missing.

Welbecks attempt to score  , typical Danny

Actually, I think he's doing more Arsenal than all the signings in the last few years. At least he's not trying to pass it into the goal. He's a lot more direct than the other players they have and honestly... it's what they needed. They had world class, they needed someone like Welbeck.

I was only referring to a specific event in the game (his air shot). Overall its far too early to make a judgement imo.

That disallowed goal really looked like it went in

the goal line tech replay was very weird. to me it certainly looked like it at least touched the line.

edit: looked as some more things. the bounce definitely makes it seem like it touches the line, an optical illusion

So many ankle injuries- you would think that their strength and conditioning coach would do something about it.

Yep. Although I've read somewhere that their bodies probably haven't adjusted to the new way of doing things yet. I mean Rambo is out for about 6 weeks and didn't even play midweek against Southampton. Arteta, too. If they'd gone off because they were tackled badly, sure. But their injuries are directly related to fitness. And both went off in the first half! Wtf Arsenal?!

Conditioning coaches can't really do anything with impact injuries. Someone steps on your ankle or you turn over your ankle is just bad luck.

The injuries we should be avoiding are soft tissue/mucles strains. That should be a no no in this day and age.

I don't think so. They could condition the areas of weakness to be a bit stronger, seeing as they should have an idea on the sort of forces, loads and tensions placed on the specific areas of the body.

Agreed. The only excuse for those is poor training methods.

Just look at that ****ing tackle and ask me again why we have that many injuries. Yellow card only ffs.

****ing Turks screwing up our lovely stadium! And yes, dirty tackle! Straight red in the EPL - don't get why UEFA are so lenient.
