Nice to have a win and a clean sheet for a change. Glad Sanogoal finally broke his duck. We played with a hunger tonight that I haven't really seen for a long, long time. Let's hope this turns things around for us. Yes, it was an under strength Dortmund team that gave zero ****s because they'd already qualified, but it's a huge result for the team in terms of confidence (which has been extremely low for a while now).

yeah, very nice to have a clean win. We looked a lot more comfortable and didn't make those stupid defensive errors that cost us before.

lets hope this is a turning point for us.

Give your team some credit. That was Dortmund's strongest current lineup.

No Reus, no Hummels. But yeah, guess I'm just a bit flat after recent results.

I've given up this season completely. I almost didn't watch last night. Saw us go up a goal on my app and then decided maybe it's worth watching.

We beat an injured Dortmund side that have already qualified. They had nothing to lose and beat us comfortably when it mattered. WengerOUT!!

Who are you and how did you hack Maverick's account?

:p

LOL.

But seriously- I think that Arsenal are being given too little credit for the win. It was a good win against a very good team, regardless of their current form or injury problems- not as if Arsenal are not going through the motions themselves.

Yaya Sanogo can finally change his Twitter handle.

Before Wednesday night it was: @Yayasanogoal22 in homage to his Arsenal goal record. Credit to the young Frenchman for being able to laugh at his own expense.

Haha...

Nice goal by the youngster. Great ball control and back heal to setup the assist for Santi.

Gibbs is really playing well for me recently. The lad just needs to stay fit. Looks like he is ready to step up a level. He was noticebly devasted after conceded the own goal against United and it shows a lot to comeback after that and perform at the level he did against Dortmund.

we seemed to have found a bit of passing rhythm, the guys seem to be able to take it in tight spaces (pause) and move the the ball around quick enough to not get caught out.

actually first goal was offside...

We've had so many of those against us this season, it's a nice change for one to come our way.

But yeah, we're through. We probably won't win the group (again), so will have to face one of the big European teams (again), which in itself is a blessing, because we'll be knocked out (again). Then we can at least focus on domestic form instead.

While the CL is mostly a nice experience, I honestly have no idea what we're doing in it year in and year out. We have no intention of actually winning the competition. We're just there to make up the numbers. I reckon we should just skip it altogether.

We can do without all the additional injuries that come with all the extra games.
