Ok you've lost me, what team are you talking about.

Chelsea. Finished 14 points behind United the season before Mourinho took over (two seasons ago, under Rafa). Which is why I asked how we could be favourites to win the league when we finished far closer to Arsenal and Spurs than we did to even the second placed team.

The season before that, we finished 6th. It indicated that despite people's delusions, the squad was not good enough to win it.

Ok you're refering to Jose comment made in Feb of this year. I thought you were talking about Chelsea as favorites for this season which they clearly were and still are.

Bringing Giroud on made the difference I reckon. So glad we have Sanchez. A hard fought win against a very tough team. I'll take it.

Giroud looks really sharp taking into account he's been out for a few months. No problem with bringing him on.

Why not move Ox to the middle and take off Ramsey though. Made more sense to try and keep your inform players on the pitch and let the out of forms ones take a rest.

Atleast he brought on Podolski instead of Sanogo. Think Podolski is more likely to get a goal out of nothing.

Good win.

How awesome is Sanchez? I always said that Chelsea missed a trick in not signing him and allowing Barca to swoop, because he would have been a perfect fit for us even then.

Screw Messi- if Chelsea want someone to improve the team, he is that guy.

Yeah he just lifts everyone and plays for the team. He gets the job done all the time, and just doesn't tire! He genuinely seems upset when a move breaks down, or we aren't pushing hard enough, and keeps urging everyone on - we've lacked that kind of passion and sense of urgency for a long, long time. Hope he has a long stay with us.

I expect a tough, physical game against Stoke City Rugby Football Club. Hopefully our lads are on form and up for it.

They hardly play like that any more. They are a different team from when Pulis was at the helm.
