that game could have gone any of 3 ways IMO, cant have any complaints.

we are pretty devastating on the counter attack too, no reason we cant get points away at napoli and dortmund

Either or, they are going to be fantastic games to watch! I'm confident though with Flamini in the side!

Agree, it's the same team that beat Bayern in germany. It's a little harder now, but we can still manage.

First big test for the gooners and they failed. Don't want to hear ifs and buts. Fact is you lost against classy team. Same old gooners huffing and puffing with no result. Next 5 games against palace away, Chelsea home, Liverpool home, dortmund away and Man U away will determine the gooners season. Will definitely not be top after those games

TBH, I'd rather take the loss now. I agree that this run of games will determine our title credentials.

Wasn't impressed with us at all last night. We looked lethargic at times. First goal was a school-boy error by Rambo: trying to dribble the ball out on the edge of your own 18 yard box with 3 opposition players closing down on you, no matter how good you think you are, is just noobish. Boot that mother****er outta there, son! Second goal we conceded: where was Sagna? He kinda just watched Loewndoskidunnohowtospellhisname run the length of the field, and volley in the winner. Come on, Bacy! BE BETTER!

We've got an "easy" game against CP at the weekend. Hopefully we can have another repeat of the Norwich game to get our confidence up. After that, it gets tricky. Not going to attempt any predictions, but we may get past Chel$ki in the cup - Mourihno has mentioned that he's not bothered with it, and they play $hitty two days before in the league. Liverpool can be tricky, especially with Sturridge and Bitey forming a good partnership. I just want to get to the Man Utd game, so that we can hopefully beat the **** out of them, and do RvP's ACL! We've been waiting for it for 8 years - let's hope revenge will be sweet! As for Dortmund 2.0, we've been decent on our travels (Bayern last year!), but let's just take it one game at a time. Still 30 games left in the league, and a lot of cup ties.

A couple of blips this season, but so far so good.

It's a great thing he made that mistake now, and not in the UCL Final. As for Bac, he never had Flamini to cover for him.

I'm not too bothered about the Chelsea game. I hope we play a really young team. We will have to travel to Dortmund as fresh as can be, anything less than giving it our all and we could end up looking really bad! Besides, Arsenal are better away than at home. I'm sure some of the matches will end in a draw, though I'd love to beat UTD and Liverpool!

I ****ing kakked myself until Giroud scored! Was telling a mate of mine that it's these types of games that win titles. I haven't seen us that flat all season. Maybe a hangover from the Dortmund game? Santi needs to get back to last season's form, and quickly - I have a feeling we'll need to start resting Özil soon. I hope they appeal Arteta's red - he'll be gone for 3 important games (Chel$ki, Liverpool and Man Utd) if we don't.

Interested to see who he fields against Chel$ki.

Iirc, straight red is 3 matches, regardless of the offence. Two yellows is only 1 game.

"We have a good ground to appeal," said Wenger. "If he is only suspended for one game, I won't do it because he is suspended for Tuesday night and anyway I would not have played him, but it was more today's game that was at stake that you worry about."

only one game.

But yeah, the top of the table is hotly congested, 1 slip up and Chelski, pool and spurs will be all over us. Lets hope we just keep our form and destroy ****!

Straight red for violent conduct is automatic three game ban. Arteta will be banned for one game only.

He will miss out on the Capital one Cup game. Would have probably rested him anyway, so works out fine.

Good win.

How you guys feeling for the Liverpool game?

Nice to have a game between Liverpool and Arsenal that's actually a top of the table clash. :D

Since it's home, I would like to see a win for us.

Difficult one to predict, but I'll be dissapointed with anything but a win for us.
