Or Flamini (only back after the Dortmund game maybe - wtf?! Bet Liverpool are breathing a sigh of relief), Arteta, Poldi, BFG (rested), Szczesny, Bacy, Gibbo, etc. Our first team would've twatted them, and not conceded.

Oh yes I forgot about Podolski. Flamini is a big miss, not sure if he would have featured last night if he was fit though.

Who all is out injured?

Wenger defends Arsenal squad

Don't go too quickly in the conclusions," he responded to questions about Chelsea having a stronger squad. "At the moment we have [Theo] Walcott, [Alex] Oxlade-Chamberlain and [Lukas] Podolski who are out.

"It's three players who have a big impact offensively. If you put them in I believe that it's a completely different position in the team.

Arsenal fans, players, manager, club etc: Don't care about the league cup, we have far too many important matches coming up.

Chelsea fans: *fapping*.. AAH Arsenal oh yeah, we the best, we gone beat their asses.

Match day (Chelsea fans fapping):

Arsenal: Okay here's the game. Semi strong, Monreal 2nd choice, Verm, 3rd choice cb, Jenks 2nd choice, Ryo 4th choice, Bendtner 3rd choice (behind podolski and giroud), Cazorla 2nd choice (At the moment not as much form as our other superstars) in the defensive midfield positions, Wilshere was 3rd choice there, next o Ramsey 3rd choice there (Oh, Arsenal were playing a different formation to dominating superstar team.. What do you know...)

Chelsea: Willian, Eto, Mata, Luiz, Cahill (All first choices).. (Still fapping).

Arsenal only Rosicky wanting to win the game, the rest uninterested.. Heck, if you have some enormous matches coming up and you've just been introduced to the field, are you going to give it your all to bring the game to extra time.. Risk fatigue and injury and lose first place in the EPL? No, that's ridiculous. You Chelsea fans can keep your Mickey Mouse cup, because that's all you going to win.

Apart from all the above, Chelsea fans still fapping, it was Mourinho who drew the big red circle around Flopkinsen before the match. Well done, you pressurized, exploited, and ruined the career of a 20yr old to progress in the Carling cup. Nothing more to it then that. However, get carried away, and think you guys are superior, but this Arsenal 1st team is too much quality for a group of young eggs and their father hen (Mourinho analogy).

Oh happy day! The Chavs lost! Now let's just hope we can destroy the Scousers, and go 5pts clear at the top! Ok, in reality, a draw would be nice, but we're Arsenal! ANYTHING can happen! :D

So where's KOPITE and his big bek now? Doesn't matter, anyway: wouldn't be able to hear him over the 5 point gap at the top of the table! :D

Well played, boys! Well played!

You sound like a Manc now...

Well, there's nothing quite like the "in your face!" run of form we're having right now. After 8 long, ****ty years, I honestly don't care what I sound like.

All the Arsenal haters are pretty quiet for a change - I'm just enjoying the silence.

Giroud not st his best with his finishing, Ozil not on form despite this Ramsey and others are on form to pick up the slack not good to have all your players on form at the same time.

I'm slowly finding that Giroud's role in the team is now far greater than just scoring goals. He holds the ball better than any forward currently in the league, his distribution to the attacking players around him is brilliant, his aerial ability is second to none, but strangely enough, his biggest impact this season has been at the opposite end of the pitch: he has been immense defensively! Almost every other Liverpool corner or cross that came in yesterday was headed away by him. He's also not scared to get stuck in.

It makes a huge change for us this season to have so many players more aware defensively. Arteta is no Flamini, but he did a great job yesterday in his absence: broke up the opposition play, and commanded the CM role.

I'm suddenly not so worried about Dortmund away anymore.

Dortmund klapped Schalke 6-1 on Friday. Dortmund is playing unbelievable footy ATM, with Lewanski on fire. You will be lucky to get a point against them.

What's reassuring is that we versed 2 "top 6 teams" as far as bookies are concerned I we won both of those matches

I wouldn't say we got klapped. We played decently in the first half, and Ramsey's goal was brilliant.
