Ja well...

We were flat, and uncreative. NOT the same team that beat Liverpool and Dortmund. I was really surprised that Flamini went off for Jack - I was hoping he'd take Ozil off. GBP42mil for that amount of stray passes?! I reckon we still need him to adjust to the EPL to be fair - it's a lot more physical than La Liga. He had a brilliant chance in the 2nd half and all he had to do was stick his head on the ball, but was put off by the two Utd defenders either side of him. Had Giroud been there... Ramsey also had a really *** game. Way too many stray balls to Utd (we're playing in yellow, buddy!). And of course, it just had to be Van Twatface that scored!

Too little too late! And the two balls from Sagna that everyone kinda just stood and watched? GET YOUR ****ING HEAD IN THERE SON! Nice to see Utd not winning a 50/50 penalty call at OT for a change! Fergie not being there actually makes a difference to the quality of the refereeing (ref had a good game tbh).

Everyone will be on about Utd's resurgence, how were were just pretenders to the crown as usual, Utd this, Utd that, blah, blah, blah. They're our bogey team, so I guess it's to be expected. Game's over. Grats Utd.

So what now? We're still top of the pile. We're still 5 points ahead of Utd. There are 27 games left, 81 possible points. We need to pick ourselves up (it's only our 4th loss in all comps this season), and enjoy the internatiolul break. We'll have a lot of players back after that (OH GOD I HOPE) - we'll be able to not bring on TGSTEL to try and get us a goal. It's about damage limitation against Chelsea, City, United and Liverpool (Anfield is a ****ty ground to go to). And we then need to pick up as many points as we can from the "lesser" teams - Sunderland vs City today showed that you can't take anyone for granted this season. I'm saying this only if we continue in the vein we did today. If we can pick ourselves up, then as you were, lads.

That game pretty much told us nothing. We lost 1-0 at utd, their defense was excellent

As was said in this thread, Arsenal have lost to mid table teams before and have moved on. The response will be important. That will tell us more about arsenal than this game and I think they will respond positively.

top of the league.
top of the group of death in champions league.
all wide players pretty much injured.
**** team.....

I bet if we drew with pool and drew with utd, people would be happy.
yet, we are actually 1 point better off, yet are **** :)

but yes, in this game, pretty poor, especially first half, and obviously created few chances. can probably say this about both teams

I think the problem is that you played United at the end of an arduous week, so the players must be tired. This comes back to the point I made about the lack of depth in the Arsenal squad. There is so little change to the first team week in week out that there is bound to be fatigue. Add to that that United are on a bit of a resurgence and Arsenal were going to struggle if the fatigue kicked in.

Yep
Fortunately there's a bit of a break for some of the players now, and Podolski and Theo should be back after the break

We should buy Rooney in Jan. Watching him play is something else.

I thought we played very well in the second half, but couldn't get the ball in the net. A bit frustrating.

Did anyone else think RVP's celebration lacked class? considering that he was a gooner?

/Then again, this is TRAITOR RVP, so I wouldn't expect less :/

It was a combination of Wenger's comments pre-match and the fact that the Arsenal supporters were giving him hectic stick. If he had been well received then I doubt he would have been as intense.

I don't like it when players don't celebrate against their former clubs. Unless they had a long successful career there. (I.e. Drogba at Chelsea).

RvP is a douche, don't know why people expect to have respect for a team and a manager that stuck by him through 7? seasons of injury.

Arsenal fans were singing the same songs at him, that Utd fans sang at him when he was at Arsenal.
