Errr, its a fact? Arsenal and Barcelona play the most beautiful football in the world.

Unless of course you consider Route 1 football the best way to play.

Barcelona - best footballing side.
Arsenal - attractive football style, but with no end result.

cut+paste+edited with my prediction

---------------------------Clown

Sagna------------Gallas------------Vermaelen--------Clichy

---------------------------Song

---------------Fab-------------------Diaby

Nasri/Eboue---------------Bendtner----------------Shava

If Cesc doesnt make it then, Nasri to replace him centrally, and Eboue (or possibly, but i think unlikely Rosicky) on the right, if Cesc doesnt play then I think its certain Eboue will start on the right helping Sagna and adding some pace to that flank...

I honestly cant see Theo starting this one

I think if RVP hadnt got injured Arsenal would be the most attractive football side, and ran away with the title this year

United would also be a little bit on the blunt side without Rooney, I guess we'll see in the next few weeks depending on how bad his injury was

RvP was playing for Arsenal last year, no trophies then either. We don't take into account hypothetical situations, because there's no point. If Liverpool had Gerrard and Torres fit for the whole season, they probably would've been a few points better off, but they aren't.

Yea fair enough but Arsenal are still 4 points off the top(still in the race), in April, still in the knock out stages of the UCL, and all the while playing attractive football.. At this point in time we can still win both competitions..

and I cant believe there are Arsenal fans that doubt Wenger, or would willingly miss an epic game like the one tonight is lined up to be

nivek, whats this talk about Gallas? Is he fit?

Even if he is fit, would you put him in the starting 11 of the biggest match of the season?

Yip, hes been in training for a few days now, theres a good chance he might start, if fit, he definately should.. He's one of the best :D and he has more pace than Sol

I doubt he will start - maybe im wrong but thats a massive risk.

Just to start a player after he comes back from injury. Even if he had a few training games to get him half fit, the 90 mins of CL footy will kill him.

Yeah, but calling Arsenal one of the two best teams (I know that wasn't you) is just daft. No trophies for the past few season means that the football isn't effective.

Read an article on goal.com, they said that Campbell was clocked as the second fastest player last year, behind Walcott.

You sure they didn't mean Frazier Campbell ? Or was that Arsenal only ? I am sure even Fabregas can out run Sol :p

I heard about that, but it must be b/s, there is no way he is faster than Clichy, Gibbs, or Eboue

Well, it was a Castrol ranking thing, so it must be a fair reflection, if not 100% accurate, since the readings are taken electronically.

Of course, this just means that they were ranked according to speeds exhibited, not necessarily maximum speeds capable, so while Clichy, Gibbs etc might be faster than him while not being recorded, it does mean that Campbell is still pretty quick.

Arsenal's beautiful football is only rivaled by Barca. Thats what was meant.

You said 'best', which I had to call you on, since you included Arsenal.

Dude, April fools is tomorrow :p

The article is from 15/03/2010 :)

Sauce

Campbell is faster than he looks, too. Despite his advancing years, last season Castrol measured the fastest Premier League players and incredibly the Englishman came second with a top speed of 22.5mph. Only Theo Walcott was faster.

Arsenal lynchpin Cesc Fabregas will start tonight's Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona after coming through a rigorous fitness test this afternoon, according to the latest reports.
