"ARSENAL: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Flamini, Arteta, Rosicky, Cazorla, Ozil, Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Vermaelen, Monreal, Wilshere, Ramsey, Walcott, Bendtner"

Only Rambo given a rest, otherwise it's a full-strength side. Hmmm, looks like we're not taking any chances tonight.

really negative performance. played for a draw, instead of hurting them, they needed to score.

giroud, ramsay and ozil should have not played tonight.
walcott and bentdner would have been fine, no worse.

really poor of arteta to get the second yellow.

really hope sagna is back for saturday. I like the guy and all, but jenkinson offers nothing.

kos is boss.
I love flamini.

We'll draw barca, Madrid or Bayern, but hopefully psg

And that will be our own fault. Napoli closed us down well and made things extremely difficult, but I think we played way to defensive.

Teams we can draw now

Madrid
Bayern
Barca
PSG
Athletico M

Teams we could have drawn:

Leverkusen
Galatasary
Olympiacos
Schalke
AC Milan
Zenit St P

Oh well.

yah, I don't really care. I would rather watch a game vs one of those teams than against Zenit

Me too, but I prefer that game to be the final, not the round of 16. :D

It was a tough group and hopefully that goes some way in preparing us for what we face in the knock out stages.

Boring game for the neutral.
I switched off just before the end of the first half.
But Arsenal got through to the next round , which is the important thing.
Man City on Saturday!

Thumped.

Great game for the neutral.

Wenger really needs to setup his team more defensively when playing against quality opposition away. Chelsea next....

Terrible game! It's not bad enough that $hitty were brilliant, we had to be flat and uninterested. I don't buy that "they played midweek" excuse - we just jogged around against Napoli - no way they could be tired as professional footballers. Too many stray passes, and a few individuals who were way below par (Jack and Nacho) in particular. Btw, was Rambo even on the pitch today?! Also, can't help feeling that if Özil was on the other team, we'd see the player that lit up La Liga. 9 day break before Chel$ki, let's hope we get everyone "rested", cause I'm not sure what excuse we could use if they beat us.

Not a happy Gooner!

We seem to lack belief against these bigger teams when last season it was the opposite.
