I remember seeing that match when I was in the army in Ladysmith.
A whole bunch of us sneaked out after lights out to watch it in the main dining area of the base.
Amazing match.

My first Memory of English football was FA Cup final Everton vs Liverpool. Think it was mid 80ties. Can't remember the score, but was awesome to watch. Only really started watching and supporting Arsenal in mid to late 90ties.

Mid 80's both Liverpool and Everton had excellent sides.
My earliest memory of English football was the 1979 FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Man U which was shown on SABC.
Three goals scored in the last 5 mins - Arsenal won 3-2.
Gary Bailey played in that match.
I probably started supporting Arsenal roundabout 1981.
That cannon looked so cool on their shirts.
I was an avid Arsenal supporter until they left Highbury and moved to The Emirates.
My support of Arsenal has slowly waned since the move to The Emirates.
I find The Emirates is just a big lump of concrete with no history or atmosphere (nothing like the atmosphere of Highbury anyway).
But I do accept that a move to a bigger stadium was necessary.
And with time The Emirates will develop its own history and unique atmosphere.
Also I do still enjoy watching Arsenal play.

Negredo and Dzeko were impressive yesterday. Considering they still have Aguero in that squad, City are lethal upfront. Going to take some hard work from the gunners to stay ahead.

Considering that we technically don't have any strikers at the moment. Giroud should be back soon though and I read somewhere that Bendtner is close as well.

Bendtner is closer than previously thought, and Giroud will play on Monday. Ox has also returned to full training, which is a big boost.

Feb is quite heavy for us too, its those 2 months that decide whether Gunners are contenders or pretenders.

Really? Not a single team drops points this weekend... I hope at least we can do the same tonight. I'm going to go with 3-1 to the Gooners.
